The Department of Pediatrics conducted a Neonatal Resuscitation Workshop under the aegis of National Neonatology Forum, Delhi, on 24.11.19. The aim of this Workshop was to impart hands-on basic and advanced skills for neonatal resuscitation, so as to reduce neonatal morbidity in the country.
The response to it was so overwhelming that we had to stop registrations at 40 delegates and express regrets to the remaining applicants. Five trainers and two observers, that were appointed by the National Neonatology Forum, conducted the training at different stations created in the Hospital Auditorium.
All delegates were very satisfied with the skills they had learnt during this intense programme that began at 9 am and ended at 4 pm.
