Complex Proximal Tibia Fracture

Young adult patient came with history of road side accident with sustained injury in his right leg region. His Xay and CT scan showed highly comminuted fracture proximal tibia. Skin condition was normal and was no so tensed. He underwent fracture fixation with 3 plates. These complex injuries required meticulous surgical planning and stable fixation to allow range of motion exercises next day of surgery. Good articular reduction is mandatory for great outcomes and to avoid arthritis in future. We routinely performed such complex procedures with great results.
