50 yrs old gentleman with no comorbidities, came with complaints of pain in both hip joints and was having difficulty in walking for the past 6 months. His X-Ray showed damaged hip joints with stage 4 AVN changes. Thus he planned for Hip Replacement Surgery for both hip joints in single sitting. Post operative xray showed uncemeted Total Hip Replacement (ceramic on poly) with no limb length discrepancy.
We routinely performed such surgeries on regular basis with great outcomes. Patient mobilized next day with support comfortably. These hip replacement surgeries require meticulous pre and intraoperative planning to prevent any limb length discrepancy.
