	The Laboratory Department is fully automated and is capable of processing urgent (STAT) samples, and also maintains strict quality assurance to give reports in a very short turn around time. The biochemistry laboratory is capable of reporting very urgent samples for the ICU patients, on electrolytes and arterial blood gases.

The Department of Microbiology is recognized as a center of excellence and is a regular contributor to various national & international journals.

Apart from the routine tests, the department is well equipped and designed to deliver accurate results in a timely manner.

Quality control

The department maintains its quality reporting through external quality assuvance for HIV Serology, Biochemistry and Hematology. The laboratory carries strict internal quality control, which is done regularly. Reports are available to the Clinicians with the least delay.
